The hotel has plenty of eateries.We eat breakfast there in either the buffet or Pyramid Cafe.Both offered good quality food at reasonable prices. Some reviewers have complained about the dim lighting,but we felt that it enhanced the atmosphere. We stayed on the 27th floor of the pyramid,which was a great experience,both for the views & the incredible architecture.The tower rooms are apparently bigger,but our room was perfectly acceptable.Fairly large,comfortable beds & a decent bathroom,with shower only.Would have been nice to have a safe and fridge. I read a few negative reviews on this site,but can only say that I experienced good service and helpful staff.
Booked a week at the Luxor,23/9 to 30/9,at short notice.We would rather have stayed more central,but took the Luxor as it was the best strip hotel available.It is connected to it's sister hotels,Mandalay Bay & Excalibur,by a free tram.Very useful.
